We are seeing interest in trying to make an impact on global warming.  We are carrying some deciduous trees and shrubs that will be fast growing and establish themselves as windbreaks and wood lots as well as make an addition to your landscaping needs.  Just think that if each person planted 5 trees or shrubs they would cover their oxygen needs for that year.  We have added two specialty packets to make it easier for people who want to plant just a few pieces but still be part of addressing global warming and adding to the value of their land.  Carbon sequestration can happen when you plant trees that contain carbon with their roots. No till planting also helps as you don't turn over the soil and, therefore, contain carbon.

We are carrying an assortment of native plants that participate in pollination by bees, birds and butterflies.  These include blue sea holly thistle, butterfly bush, catalpa, hibiscus moscheutos, lilac, rosa rugosa, rose of sharon, ninebark and trumpet vine.
